Position: Branch Executive Officer (5 Positions)

Locations: Vavuniya, Polonnaruwa, Galle, Hambantota, Kilinochchi
Reference: HRM 030/2024


Compensation:
Attractive remuneration based on qualifications, experience, and competencies.
Preference will be given to applicants residing in the mentioned districts.


Required Qualifications & Experience

Option 1:

  • Degree in Sociology, Business Management, Economics, Public Administration, Health & Care, Law, Engineering, or a related field from a recognized institution.
  • Minimum of 3 years’ post-qualification experience in project administration or implementation.

Option 2:

  • Diploma in Sociology, Social Work, Business Management, Economics, Public Administration, Health & Care, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years’ post-qualification experience in project administration or implementation.

Essential Competencies

  • Proven experience in administration, human resources, logistics, and asset management.
  • Strong conceptual and analytical skills in community development.
  • Well-developed skills in field coordination, project implementation, and community mobilization.
  • Excellent public relations, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in Sinhala, Tamil, and English (oral and written).
  • Skilled in MS Office Applications.

General Requirements

  • Solid understanding of humanitarian, community, and volunteer-based service interventions.
  • Quick learner with the ability to adhere to SLRCS management guidelines and procedures.
  • Team player with self-motivation and the ability to work under challenging circumstances.
  • Commitment to the Red Cross and Red Crescent Fundamental Principles.
  • Administrative and operational affairs are conducted in English.
