The 2023 GCE Ordinary Level (O/L) exam results are expected to be released within the next two weeks, according to the Minister of Education, Susil Premajayantha.
The Examination Commissioner General, Amit Jayasundara, mentioned that the results for the General Certificate of Education exams, which began earlier this year, should be available by September 2024.
He also noted that approximately 35,000 examiners will be needed to evaluate the answer sheets once the exams are over.
The G.C.E. (O/L) exams kicked off on May 6, 2024, and are being conducted across 3,527 exam centers nationwide, continuing until May 15.
This year, 452,979 students are sitting for the exams, according to the examination department.
